Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony feature an exquisite range of dining experiences including the main Crystal Dining Room which boasts sweeping ocean views by day and a magnificent ambiance at night, casual poolside dining, The Bistro, in-suite dining and room service which is available round the clock. In addition, the alternative speciality restaurants offer an exciting variety, at no additional cost, and feature menus specially created by world-famous chefs –Wolfgang Puck, Piero Selvaggio and Nobu Matsuhisa.
Daytime Dining
For dining throughout the day, Crystal offers a variety of delectable choices. Lido Café features a casual ambiance with breathtaking ocean views, and the buffet-style indoor/outdoor Café offers both Early-and Late-Riser Breakfast, as well as late-morning bouillon service and luncheon buffets.
Daytime snacks, a lunchtime hamburger/hot dog grill, sandwiches, specialty burgers and a full bar are available at the Trident Bar & Grill. During your cruise, you will be treated to several special buffets that might include Asia Café, Cuisine of the Sun, Latino Nuevo and American Classic. For your sweet tooth, ice cream, frozen yoghurt, sorbets and freshly baked biscuits are available during the day at the Ice Cream Bar.
Afternoon Tea
What could be more civilised than afternoon tea? There are several tea options to transport you to a different time and place. Revel in the luscious Viennese flavours and elegant ambiance of their Mozart Tea, where the staff in period costumes of velvet, brocade and lace cater to your pleasure. You may also choose the white-tie-and-tails tradition of the English Colonial Tea or the charming southern ambiance of the popular American Tea.
Evening Dining
The extraordinary cuisine for which Crystal Cruises is justifiably famous is offered in the elegant Crystal Dining Room, located in the heart of the ship just off the Crystal Plaza. The gracious European-trained waiters and internationally acclaimed chefs provide regionally inspired dishes and classic continental cuisine. The Crystal Dining Room offers the flexibility of two seatings to facilitate your dining preferences, and gives you the convenience of open seating at breakfast and lunch.
Casual poolside dining is offered on many evenings. Served from the Trident Grill on Crystal Symphony and from Tastes on Crystal Serenity, dinners on these relaxed, no-reservations evenings under the stars are a unique Crystal Cruises dining option.
Specialty Restaurants
Alternative specialty dinner restaurants at no additional cost are also available.
On Crystal Symphony, you’ll enjoy the innovative Asian cuisine prepared with a contemporary flair at Jade Garden. Dishes are inspired by the exotic array of traditions and ingredients of the Orient. Specialty selections from Wolfgang Puck’s Chinois restaurant are also offered.
On Crystal Serenity, contemporary Asian cuisine in the specialty restaurant Silk Road and The Sushi Bar, offering signature dishes created by internationally renowned Japanese master chef, Nobu Matsuhisa.
On Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, the Italian restaurant Prego offers elegant dining with a spectacular view and unique Italian cuisine. No matter where in the world you are cruising, you’ll have the option to enjoy Old World charm and authentic regional Italian cuisine, with signature creations by Piero Selvaggio, owner of the renowned Valentino restaurants in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
The Vintage Room
The Vintage Room, a unique dining experience offered on both Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, was created as a venue for promoting wine appreciation and the vast range of wine selections offered on board. This unique enrichment experience focuses on wine, with food specially prepared and paired to complement the specific fine wines selected for the evening.
You may partake in a variety of wine “themed” dinners on any evening of your choice during the cruise. By special arrangement with the Head Sommelier, private parties of up to 12 can be arranged. You may choose an array of fine wines from our exclusive Reserve Wine List, then the Executive Chef pairs unique culinary creations to enhance the qualities of the wines chosen. During the dinner, the Head Sommelier offers complete wine tasting notes.
Please note: you may reserve a seat in the Vintage Room for an all-inclusive charge of $180 per person, which consists of the food, the reserve wines and gratuities. The date of your Vintage Room event will be determined at a future time, closer to the sailing date, as a minimum of ten guests must sign up to participate for the event to be offered. Or you may choose an exclusive private dinner with up to 12 guests for an all-inclusive charge of $1,800. All charges will be posted to your shipboard account. Both options are available to pre-book before you embark.
Wine List
Chosen to represent a broad range of wines from the world, the wine list is vast and varies. From vintage years of first-growth Bordeaux and California cult Cabernets, to excellent value wines from countries like Spain and Australia.
