The Enrichment Programme of guest speakers on Queen Elizabeth 2 has long maintained a high standard of excellence.
Nearly every voyage will host a well-known British celebrity who will provide personal highlights and entertaining stories about his or her life and career. Destination speakers will offer historical and cultural insights into the ports visited by Queen Elizabeth 2. Enrichment speakers will offer interesting discussions on a wide variety of general interest topics, including history and politics, film and television, maritime history, the monarchy, musical theatre and many more.
The most elaborate enrichment programme at sea includes workshops, seminars, lectures and book signings presented by a host of eminent personalities.
The Cunard Book Club
The Book Club offers the opportunity for thought-provoking literary discussions among your fellow guests each voyage.
Depending on the length of the voyage, one or more Book Club meetings will be scheduled. Guests can check the ship’s Daily Programme for details about the Book Club selection and meeting time. Each Book Club meeting will be led by the ship's Librarian, who will provide a short history of the author and lead the discussion. For those who wish to participate on their voyage but haven't yet read the selection, multiple copies of the book will be available at the ships’ library, as well as for purchase at the book store.
