A vast array of Queen Mary 2 enrichment and lecture programmes are available to expand your horizons and take you to places you've always dreamed about. With Cunard's Cultural Enrichment Programme, you can dabble in any number of topical issues presented by trendsetters in fashion, music and the arts, by historians and scientists, by leading chefs, college professors and top diplomats. Join a class ranging from computer training to wine appreciation, foreign languages to photography.

Cunard Book Club

The Cunard Book Club offers the opportunity for thought-provoking literary discussions among Cunard’s guests each voyage. Book Club selections will change quarterly and are reflective of the interests of each ship’s guests; selections for Queen Mary 2's Club will be drawn from the New York Times’ best-sellers list. Depending on the length of the voyage, one or more Book Club meetings will be scheduled. Guests can check the ship’s Daily Programme for details about the Book Club selection and meeting time. Each Book Club meeting will be led by the ship's Librarian, who will provide a short history of the author and lead the discussion. For those who wish to participate on their voyage but haven't yet read the selection, multiple copies of the book will be available at the ships’ library, as well as for purchase at the book store.

Royal Academy of Dramatic Art

The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), established in 1904 is the most famous classical acting school in the United Kingdom, and one of the most respected academies in the world. Its alumni include many of the great names of both yesterday and today - Sir John Gielgud, Vivienne Leigh, Anthony Hopkins, Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman, Juliet Stevenson, Peter O'Toole, Kenneth Branagh, Glenda Jackson, Joan Collins and many more.

Guests sailing on Queen Mary 2 between May and November this year will have the opportunity to see a very different type of evening entertainment programme. Cunard is moving the successful Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) theatre programme to a prestigious main evening slot in the ships Royal Court Theatre. A cast of six graduate actors on the thresholds of their careers will present abridged versions of well know plays on every Queen Mary 2 Transatlantic sailing. The program, will include Noel Coward’s comedy Fallen Angels and The Importance of Being Earnest.
This is a departure from the traditional evening entertainment program which will still feature many hi-calibre guest entertainers and musical productions however, by offering a play normally only available in commercial theatre Cunard feels guests will benefit even further from the unique Cunard and RADA partnership.

RADA will still be presenting their matinee program of Shakespeare excerpts and three acting workshops on each Transatlantic Crossing.
