GENERAL SHIP INFORMATION
The MV Cézanne was built in 1993 and refurbished in 2006. The vessel is deluxe with 50 cabins carrying 100 passengers. Original works of art can be found throughout. All cabins are beautifully furnished and feature a full-length window for upper-deck cabins or three large portholes for all lower deck cabins. Built-in closets, desk, shower and toilet, telephone, safe, four-channel radio and color TV are in each cabin. A hairdryer and terry robes are also available upon request. Bedding is a European-style duvet with feather pillows and eiderdowns (synthetic materials available upon request). Smoking is not allowed in the cabins, restaurant or in the corridors.
The vessel features six meals daily (breakfast, morning bouillon, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and midnight snack). All meals are single seating in a non-smoking dining room with five-course evening meals (up to nine courses on selected nights). Additionally, there is a lounge, bar, gift shop, beauty salon, library, laundry, safe deposit boxes as well as an infirmary with a qualified doctor on board. The Sun Deck has plenty of deck chairs and blankets, if needed. Captain’s Welcome and Captain’s Farewell Receptions are provided as well as nightly entertainment and dancing. There is one crew member for every 2.5 passengers providing the best crew-to-passenger ratio of any river vessel. This allows for a high level of service as well as sumptuous food, served course by course for the evening meal. English language announcements, menus and daily programs are provided.
