Dr Steve Kershaw
As a Classics Tutor for Oxford University Department for Continuing Education, and as leader of the European Studies Classical tour for Rhodes College and the University of the South, Steve Kershaw has travelled extensively in the world of the Greeks and Romans, and has recently published ’A Brief Guide to the Greek Myths’. He gave his first talks for Swan Hellenic on board Orpheus in 1989.

Mr Peter Welton
Peter Welton first encountered art at Leeds Teacher Training College when he was advised to transfer to the Art department from Mathematics. He subsequently went on to read Fine Art at Durham University and on graduating worked for a short time as a designer in Repertory theatres before going into teaching on a temporary basis - which lasted thirty years. He became a full time watercolour painter in 1990 and has since received many prestigious commissions including a watercolour landscape for HM the Queen in 1992.
